Marciello gets Austria test outing

Sauber F1 Team Ferrari youngster Raffaele Marciello will receive another test outing with Sauber at next week’s running following the Austrian Grand Prix. Marciello, 20, tested for both Ferrari and Sauber in Barcelona last month, having occupied a reserve role with the Swiss team in 2015. Those duties have also enabled Marciello to participate in practice sessions in Malaysia and Spain, alongside his participation in this year’s GP2 Championship. Marciello will pilot the Ferrari-powered Sauber C34 on the first day of testing next Tuesday. With Marcus Ericsson having tested for Sauber at the post-race test in Spain, Felipe Nasr will receive a day of running next Wednesday.
