Renault insists on 'positive' Canadian GP
Renault is adamant it can take positives away from the Canadian Grand Prix despite only one of its cars finishing in the points. The French manufacturer's managing director Cyril Abiteboul has declared his squad is on top of its reliability issues after not suffering a technical-related DNF for the third race in a row. However, Abiteboul is aware the results are nowhere near what is expected from Red Bull or Toro Rosso and says Renault has a long term plan to rectify its 2015 season. Red Bull's Daniil Kvyat was the only Renault-powered points scorer in Montreal, while his team-mate Daniel Ricciardo's frustrating 13th made him feel like he was 'banging his head against a wall'.
