Haas begins wind tunnel testing for 2016 debut
The Haas F1 Team, led by owner Gene Haas, has begun wind tunnel testing of its car ahead of its planned debut in 2016. The American outfit, which will also have a UK base, is working closely with Ferrari and Dallara to design and test its chassis and aerodynamics, hence the use of the Scuderia's Maranello wind tunnel. "Our model is in the wind tunnel at Ferrari right now, we are working in collaboration with Dallara on that, they are making some parts for the model there in Italy," Haas told Racecar Engineering.
