Ferrari confirms Alonso departure

Ferrari and Fernando Alonso have confirmed that they have ended their partnership by mutual consent.
Alonso joined the team at the start of 2010 and has accrued 11 wins in that period, along with three runner-up positions in the championship.
But Alonso's relationship with Ferrari deteriorated across 2014 and it has been confirmed that the Spaniard will leave the team after this weekend's Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
"Today is not an easy one for me, because even if I always look to the future with great enthusiasm and determination, at the end of this season my journey as a Ferrari driver will come to an end," said Alonso
