Alonso rules out Lotus move

Fernando Alonso has revealed a little more information about his plans for the 2015 F1 season, ruling out recent suggestions that he raised money to complete a takeover of Lotus. The Spanish Ferrari driver was again in the middle of rumours during the Russian Grand Prix, with the most recent one being a possible move to Lotus. The Enstone based team has been Alonso's employer on several occasions, and their move to Mercedes power next year made them more interesting than ever. However, NBC commentator Will Buxton has reported that Fernando Alonso confirmed to him he will not have Mercedes engine power next season.
