Third car a six-month job - Boullier

Getty Images Enlarge Eric Boullier says McLaren would need six months to enter a third car for the first race of 2015, less time than there is until the Australian Grand Prix next season. The prospect of three-car teams has become a pressing issue in F1 with the possibility of one or more teams folding over the winter, with regulations stating other teams have to step in with another car if grid numbers fall below 20. Though nothing has been confirmed and discussions are still ongoing Boullier thinks it will not be a simple task to get everything in place for a third car.
