Rosberg struggling to get his head around car

Getty Images Enlarge Nico Rosberg says he is on the back foot after a problem in FP1 limited his Friday practice running at the Spanish Grand Prix, but is confident he can still challenge for victory against team-mate Lewis Hamilton this weekend. Rosberg suffered an ERS cooling problem in first practice and spent most of the 90-minute session watching his mechanics work on his car. He returned to the track in the afternoon session but was nearly 0.5s off Hamilton as he struggled to find a setup. "My hopes are still there that it could still become a normal weekend," he said.
