Pirelli confirms 2014 tyres for practice

"true">Sole Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has confirmed that it will provide all teams with 2014 development tyres on the opening day of practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix. With the required permission granted from governing body the FIA, Pirelli is to give drivers two sets of its planned Medium compound tyres, for use during FP1 and FP2. Pirelli Motorsport Director explained that it is a crucial opportunity to gain first-hand data ahead of "the fundamental changes in the technical regulations for 2014." Pirelli also brought development tyres to the final round of the 2012 campaign.
