Kvyat gains Super Licence at Misano

"true">GP3 Champion Daniil Kvyat has secured his Formula 1 Super Licence, clearing the future Toro Rosso driver to make practice appearances at Austin and Interlagos. The Russian, 19, completed the required running at the Misano circuit, Italy last Friday. Driving an STR6, he racked up 102 laps, the equivalent of around 415 kilometres. In the United States, Kvyat is set to take over Jean-Éric Vergne's car for the opening 90 minute session, while in Brazil, Red Bull-bound Daniel Ricciardo will make way.
