Button says McLaren contract signed
Jenson Button has confirmed that he will remain with McLaren next season, the 2009 World Champion telling Sky Sports that an extension to his contract has been signed. Although Button's place at the outfit has never been under serious threat, it became clear at the Belgian Grand Prix that team chiefs were yet to take up the option they had on his services, a system that has been in place since his last renewal in 2011. But ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, Button said: "It's done, I'll be here next year." He was unable to confirm, however, if his latest deal includes the 2015 season.
