Pérez eager to make up for lost points

McLaren's Sergio Pérez is eyeing a return to the points-paying positions at Monza, having narrowly missed out in Belgium after being penalised by the race stewards. The Mexican, who was handed a drive through for his pass on Romain Grosjean at Spa-Francorchamps, says although he does not expect the MP4-28 to challenge at the front in ultra-low downforce configuration, he is optimistic of fighting for the top ten. "After the disappointment of Spa, where we had the pace to score points, I'm keen to get another shot," said Pérez, who finished 11th in the Belgian race.
