Wolff tells Marko he’s wrong about Russell’s F1 future

Toto Wolff has brushed aside Helmut Marko’s gloomy verdict on George Russell’s F1 future and championship prospects, insisting that Mercedes’ under-pressure Briton still has everything required to fight for the sport's biggest prize. The former Red Bull advisor believes Russell has already lost his status as Mercedes’ leading driver after being comprehensively outshone by team-mate Kimi Antonelli in 2026.
