F1: United States Grand Prix: Practice team notes - Alpine
Pierre Gasly: 'From a results point of view, it does not look to be the best day for us but we know some areas we can improve and I am sure we will still be in the mix for the top ten when it matters. 'The track is very bumpy, usual for here as it's the nature of the track, and it has been quite difficult to get a good read on car balance. A lot of our set-up work has been trying to get the car riding better over the bumps. We are probably not as strong here as we would like to be, so we have quite a bit to learn and understand overnight. Our pace on high fuel in Free Practice 2 was better, which is obviously very important with an eye on Sunday. That being said, we still need to qualify...
