Vasseur unconvinced Red Bull now F1’s team to beat

Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur is not yet sure that Red Bull currently has the fastest car on the F1 grid, despite Max Verstappen’s increasingly ominous resurgence threatening to turn the closing stages of the 2026 season into a very uncomfortable exercise for his rivals. The Dutchman has swept to victory in Malaysia and Singapore, winning from pole position at both venues and adding further evidence that Red Bull has finally found a way to unlock its package.
