Wolff puzzled by Russell’s missing pace: ‘Where has it gone?’

That appears to be the question increasingly troubling Toto Wolff after another weekend in which the Mercedes driver found himself playing second fiddle to Kimi Antonelli. For all the speed Mercedes has shown this season, Russell’s championship challenge has steadily lost momentum. The latest blow came at the Madring, where he struggled with tyre degradation, could manage only sixth on the grid and eventually finished fifth – almost 30 seconds behind his victorious team-mate.
