F1: Give drivers a say in circuit design urges Verstappen
Max Verstappen has called on F1 to consult drivers when designing new circuits. The four-time world champion's request comes ahead of a race that some are predicting could result in all manner of incidents, with almost every team press release admitting that because overtaking will be difficult every other opportunity will need to be explored. 'We know the race could be chaotic,' admits Fred Vasseur at Ferrari, 'so we need to be ready to take every opportunity, whether that comes from a VSC, a Safety Car or even a red flag.'
