F1: Norris takes shock pole in Spain
Ahead of Q1 the air temperature is 30 degrees C, while the track temperature is 54 degrees. It remains bright and sunny. Antonelli was quickest in this morning's session, as was the case in FP2, but crashes involving Hamilton and then Bearman meant that not only was vital running time was lost but that the teams' couldn't run their full programme. It's interesting to note that while FP1 passed without any major incidents, certainly no red flags, as the weekend has progressed and drivers' confidence grew, so the mistakes have become more frequent. Albon only brushed the wall, but such was the damage he was forced to sit out this morning's session, James Vowles admitting shock at the damage...
