F1: Spanish Grand Prix: Practice team notes - Haas
Round 14 of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship began with Friday practice at the all-new Circuito de Madring in Madrid as teams prepared for Sunday's 57-lap Spanish Grand Prix. TGR Haas F1 Team drivers Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman wasted little time in familiarizing themselves with the challenging 5.416-kilometer (3.365-mile), 22-turn circuit in FP1 - having only previously experienced the layout on the simulator. Both VF-26s ran one set each of the Pirelli P Zero Yellow medium and Red soft tires - lap times dropping as they transitioned from baseline stints into more aggressive running.
