Ecclestone denies arrest after shotgun incident
Sep.8 Former Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has denied reports that he was arrested in Portugal after arriving at an airport with a shotgun. Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha first reported that the 95-year-old had been detained during a routine operation at Tires Aerodrome in Cascais after arriving by private jet from Switzerland. Bild and De Telegraaf subsequently reported the incident as an arrest, but Ecclestone told the Press Association that account was wrong. 'No,' he said when asked if he had been arrested.
