Franco Colapinto was left to rue a painful mistake at Monza after a promising start to his Italian Grand Prix was derailed by an early spin, robbing the Alpine driver of the chance to convert one of his strongest performances of the season into an even bigger points haul. The Argentine had enjoyed a remarkable opening phase at the Temple of Speed, climbing as high as fourth as the race was repeatedly reshaped by incidents involving some of Formula 1's biggest names.
