George Russell has reached a brutally realistic conclusion about his 2026 title ambitions: Kimi Antonelli is now firmly “in control”, and after what the young Italian produced at Monza, Russell believes he deserves to be. The Mercedes team-mates arrived at their home race with a 59-point gap between them, but their starting positions could hardly have been more different.
