Cadillac braced for ‘difficult test’ at Monza, Budkowski warns

Cadillac heads into its first Formula 1 appearance at Monza facing the prospect of a big reality check, as the legendary circuit is likely to expose the vulnerabilities of its MAC-26. The American newcomer arrives at the Temple of Speed after an encouraging outing at Zandvoort, where it showed enough pace to mix it with some of the established midfield contenders. But Monza presents an altogether different proposition, with its long straights, heavy braking zones and slow chicanes placing a premium on characteristics that Cadillac has yet to fully master.
