Browning to drive Alex Albon’s Williams in Monza FP1
Williams reserve driver and Academy member Luke Browning will return to Formula 1 machinery at the Italian Grand Prix, taking over Alex Albon’s FW48 for FP1 at Monza. The session at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza will mark Browning’s second FP1 appearance of the 2026 season and his sixth overall for Williams, as the Grove-based team completes its second mandated rookie running of the campaign. Browning previously drove the FW48 during FP1 at the Austrian Grand Prix, giving him his first full session in the team's new-generation Formula 1 car under the 2026 technical regulations.
