Ukraine files FIA ethics complaint over Russia ban reversal

The FIA’s decision to restore Russia’s national identity to international motorsport has triggered a fresh diplomatic confrontation, with Ukraine’s governing body taking its opposition directly to the federation’s ethics machinery. The Ukrainian Automobile Federation (FAU) has formally complained to the FIA Ethics Committee after the World Motor Sport Council voted on August 3 to remove restrictions that had prevented Russian and Belarusian competitors from racing under their national colours.
