Zandvoort Speed Trap: Who is the fastest of them all?

Sunday morning has arrived at Zandvoort, and preparations – mechanical and tactical – are at a fever pitch as teams get set to tackle the sandy, high-downforce dunes of the Dutch coast. Saturday’s speed trap readings from qualifying highlighted a striking pattern down the main straight: Mercedes-powered machinery swept the top six positions in maximum velocity. Pierre Gasly’s Alpine spearheaded the charts at a staggering 331.7 km/h, closely shadowed by Franco Colapinto’s Williams at 331.3 km/h.
