Bottas addresses Cadillac shake-up: ‘Something needed to change’

Cadillac’s dramatic decision to part ways with Graeme Lowdon may have caught the Formula 1 paddock off guard, but Valtteri Bottas believes the American outfit had reached a point where change was unavoidable. The Finn, who has a long-standing friendship with Lowdon, admitted that several unresolved issues had been allowed to linger as Cadillac established itself as F1’s newest team. Yet even Bottas was surprised by the scale of the management shake-up, with former Alpine executive director Marcin Budkowski now taking over as team principal. A bigger change than expected...
