F1: Pirelli completes Hungaroring test
Pirelli has completed a two-day test at the Hungaroring in which three teams were in action testing 2027 tyres. On Tuesday, Gabriel Bortoleto was at the wheel of the Audi, Jak Crawford the Aston Martin and Franco Colapinto the Alpine. Throughout the day, the three drivers completed a series of screening runs on various C3 tyre options, followed by long runs that enabled the performance and degradation characteristics of the most promising to be assessed. Colapinto and Bortoleto also evaluated several C4 and C5 compound variants through qualifying simulations and higher-mileage stints.
