Why did Leclerc avoid penalty after his yellow flag investigation?
F1 Grand Prix, GP Hungary, Hungaroring Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc escaped without penalty after being investigated for an alleged yellow flag infringement during the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Ferrari driver was placed under investigation during the race for a potential breach of Article B1.8.4a of the FIA Formula One Regulations after appearing not to have taken appropriate action when single yellow flags were displayed at Turn 2. Following the race, however, the FIA stewards determined that no further action was necessary after reviewing positioning and marshalling system data, video footage, telemetry and the onboard camera from Leclerc's Ferrari.
