Piastri says Sainz clash ‘one of the dumbest things I’ve seen’

Oscar Piastri did not hold back his frustration after Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix, branding his clash with Carlos Sainz as "one of the dumbest things" he has ever witnessed on a Formula 1 circuit after the incident derailed what he believes was a genuine shot at victory. The McLaren driver had wrestled the lead away from teammate Lando Norris on the opening lap and looked firmly in control through the first half of the race.
