Norris ruins Hamilton party by taking pole position at Hungary
F1 Grand Prix, GP Hungary, Hungaroring Lando Norris was the fastest man today in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, topping Ferrari's Hamilton by little more than a hundredth of a second. Charles Leclerc was third fastest, making for a strong session for Ferrari despite their disappointment. Qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix kicked off with the Cadillacs venturing out almost immediately, followed by Stroll and Alonso. This time around, thanks to the considerable aerodynamic upgrade on the AMR26, Alonso and Stroll emerged ahead of the Cadillac duo with Alonso topping the timesheet until Hamilton, also out fairly early, took over with a run on medium tyres.
