Ferrari unveils ‘bunny ears' in latest innovation push
Jul.24 Ferrari has continued its striking run of technical innovation by unveiling another highly distinctive rear wing for the Hungarian GP. The latest evolution of the so-called ‘Macarena' concept features small winglets resembling bunny ears on either side, together with a triple-decker cascade in the centre of the assembly. Auto Motor und Sport says Ferrari has a fundamental packaging advantage over its rivals. On most cars, the actuator that moves the main flap occupies the central section of the wing. Ferrari places the adjustment mechanism at the outer endplates instead, freeing the middle of the wing for additional aerodynamic elements. Rival teams were able to use similar...
