Antonelli beats Verstappen to pole position at Spa-Francorchamps
F1 Grand Prix, GP Belgium, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps Mercedes driver and championship leader Kimi Antonelli secured pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix. Max Verstappen was second fastest and thanks his teammate for an important tow while Lando Norris was third fastest but is set to start 13th due to a technical penalty. Qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix got off to a slow start with only Stroll, Bottas and Perez getting out on track in the first 3 minutes. The three started their laps quite closely together before all of a sudden the pitlane got very busy at the time when the three out there completed S1 on their first flying lap.
