F1TECH: Alpine introduces revised halo at Spa-Francorchamps
Alpine has introduced a small but targeted aerodynamic update for the A526 at the Belgian Grand Prix, with a redesigned halo fairing aimed at improving airflow conditioning and increasing aerodynamic efficiency towards the rear of the car. The Enstone-based squad has brought a reprofiled halo fairing featuring an additional winglet, designed to better control airflow passing over the cockpit area and improve the performance of downstream aerodynamic surfaces.
