F1MATHS: Key numbers behind the tweaks to the power units

Just one season after Formula 1 introduced its all-new hybrid power units, the FIA has approved a series of significant technical adjustments for 2027 and 2028. The changes are designed to increase the performance of both the electrical and internal combustion elements while remaining within Formula 1's power unit budget cap. The revised regulations focus on three key areas: larger batteries, higher charging capability, and increased turbocharger pressure, all aimed at extracting more performance from the next generation of Formula 1 engines.
