Vasseur reveals real story behind Leclerc’s Silverstone revival

Charles Leclerc's commanding British Grand Prix victory looked, on the surface, like the moment Ferrari finally unlocked the performance it had been chasing all season. But according to team principal Fred Vasseur, the breakthrough at Silverstone had far less to do with outright speed than with restoring a driver's belief. For much of the opening phase of the 2026 Formula 1 campaign, Leclerc had struggled to tame the Scuderia’s SF-26, while Lewis Hamilton adapted well to the Italian outfit's new-era machine.
