Mateschitz losing patience with Verstappen – report

Jul.8 Fresh reports in the Netherlands suggest tensions between Max Verstappen and Red Bull are escalating, with both sides growing increasingly frustrated as uncertainty over the Dutchman's future drags on. The relationship has deteriorated amid Red Bull's disappointing 2026 campaign, with Verstappen left furious after Silverstone about performance, reliability and the team's refusal to follow his preferred strategy before the British GP. According to De Limburger, Verstappen can activate an exit clause after the Hungarian GP and may delay a final decision until as late as October.
