F1: Leclerc hopes for an end to negativity
Silverstone winner, Charles Leclerc is hoping that his victory will dispel some of the negativity he has suffered in recent months. Among other things, the Monegasque is following the example of other drivers and giving social media miss - though not in terms of flogging the latest Ferrari T-shirt, cap or the myriad of other products and services he endorses for a fee. In recent weeks Leclerc, already struggling with the new cars which are at odds with his driving style, has been very much in the shade of his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, who, following a couple of podiums, scored his, and Ferrari's, first win since 2024.
