Formula E swoops as Zandvoort prepares post-F1 future

Jun.24 Zandvoort has already secured a high-profile successor to Formula 1. As the Dutch circuit prepares to host its final grand prix in August, Formula E has announced it will race at Zandvoort for the first time in 2027. The move forms part of a broader shift by the electric series towards permanent circuits, with Austin's Circuit of the Americas and Brands Hatch also joining the schedule. 'Welcoming world-renowned tracks like COTA in Austin, Zandvoort, and Brands Hatch provides the ultimate stage to showcase our new GEN4 era,' said Formula E co-founder Alberto Longo.
