Jos Verstappen slams Schumacher’s Mercedes contract claim

The Formula 1 paddock loves a good contract conspiracy, but Jos Verstappen has zero patience for backyard gossip – especially when it comes from Ralf Schumacher. The former driver turned pundit recently set the rumor mill spinning by suggesting that Toto Wolff’s public courtship of four-time world champion Max Verstappen had culminated in a deliberately insulting, low-ball financial offer designed to fail. Speaking on the German Backstage Boxengasse podcast, Schumacher laid out his theory on why a blockbuster Mercedes switch for the current Red Bull driver had gone cold....
