Wolff pours cold water on Verstappen-Mercedes speculation

Jun.9 Toto Wolff has offered perhaps the clearest sign yet that Mercedes may no longer be actively pursuing Max Verstappen. While Verstappen continues to be linked with a future move away from Red Bull, Mercedes' dominant start to 2026 has been driven by the stunning rise of runaway championship leader Kimi Antonelli. After the teenager's latest victory in Monaco stretched his advantage over teammate George Russell to 68 points, Wolff sounded fully committed to his current lineup.
