Perez applauded by Mexican media after great sports weekend
Sergio Perez became the first Mexican to win the Monaco Grand Prix in a weekend that was full of sports spectacle for Mexicans. Patricio O'Ward finished second in the Indy500 and the national soccer championship was also played. Perez's win leads the way. Mexican media call Perez win historic Perez is the second Mexican F1 race winner.
