Miami's Turn 17 track undergoes more reparations

Another night of track resurfacing has taken place at Miami's Turn 17 after patches of damage were identified after the opening day of practice at the venue. On Thursday afternoon, in the wake of some hot laps conducted by F1's Safety Car and VIP vehicles, deterioration due to a known issue appeared around the hairpin located just before the start/finish straight, but also at Turns 7 and 17. Work was conducted overnight to repair the track's surface, but after Friday's action it was decided to resurface once again a troubled area at Turn 17.
