Albert Park wants to host the Australian GP in the long term

Albert Park, the circuit where the Australian Grand Prix is held, is undergoing changes to ensure it stays on the Formula 1 calendar. More than ten million euros have been invested in track improvements. The contract of the circuit in Melbourne runs until 2025, but the bosses of the circuit are already looking at the long term. According to Andrew Westacott, boss of the Australian GP, the improvements are meant to keep Melbourne on the calendar. It is said that Sydney would like to take over the Grand Prix.
