Verstappen stormed to his ninth victory of the 2021 season at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, meaning he surpasses Senna for the most wins in a single F1 campaign for a Honda-powered driver. Senna originally set the record en route to the first of his three world titles back in 1988, at the beginning of the highly successful McLaren-Honda days.
