Wolff: "We just have to work on communication"

There was a bit of a row over the radio between Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes. Toto Wolff agrees that the communication could have been better, but knows that there is still respect and trust from both sides. According to the team boss of the German racing team, these kind of situations are nothing new. Strategist James Vowles wanted to bring the seven-time world champion in around lap 41, but Hamilton refused and stayed on the tarmac. Eventually, the British driver came in for a pit stop ten laps later. He returned to the track in fifth place and then angrily commented that they should have just stayed out.
