Sainz can't fight Mercedes and Red Bull but ‘could have been there'

Carlos Sainz would have loved to have been able to take on Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, but that's not likely to happen this weekend in Turkey. The Ferrari driver will start from the back of the grid after having his whole engine changed at Istanbul Park. Sainz is a little jealous of teammate Charles Leclerc. "When I see that Charles is capable of fighting for the podium, I am confident that I can do it too, but I am aware that I will have to make up a lot of positions," said Sainz, who at Motorsport.com admitted that he is disappointed.
