After winning the world title in Formula E, Nyck de Vries was linked with various Formula 1 teams. He was mentioned as a possible driver for Williams, Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo. However, there is no room for him at the first two teams and Alfa Romeo would therefore be his only remaining option. Honoured to be mentioned Besides Formula E, De Vries also won the Formula 2 championship. Despite winning two titles, the Dutchman has yet to make the step to Formula 1.
