First midfield analyses: McLaren in front, AlphaTauri and Alfa Romeo stand out

One of the most exciting factors of the 2020 Formula 1 season was the battle in the midfield, where teams were closely matched and the battle raged until the very last moment. Initial analyses of the current midfield on the grid predict another spectacle. According to Auto, Motor und Sport the current midfield can be divided into two groups: the teams fighting for the coveted P3 in the constructors' battle and the stragglers jostling for the last remaining points. "Up front, McLaren, Ferrari and Alpha Tauri are fighting for what the top two teams leave behind. At the rear, Alpine and Aston Martin shouldn't weaken.
