Binotto: We are moving the car in the right direction

Ferrari's efforts at the Eifel Grand Prix are indicative its troubled 2020 car has made progress, says team principal Mattia Binotto. Currently enduring their worst season in decades, Ferrari have struggled both in the wake of the controversy around its 2019 power unit, and amid the resurgence of midfield teams McLaren, Racing Point and Renault. However after introducing the second phase in a series of upgrades that began the race before at Sochi, Charles Leclerc was able to qualify in P4 before finishing P7 in Sunday's race at the Nurburgring, with Binotto suggesting it was proof the Scuderia was back on the right track.
