The pressure on Antonio Giovinazzi continues throughout the season. With Mick Schumacher, Callum Ilott and Robert Shartzman, there is quite a bit of Ferrari talent ready to replace him in Formula 2 and the Italian's performance isn't getting any better either. Who does Ferrari prefer? In 2017 Giovinazzi got his first chance in F1 as a replacement for the injured Pascal Wehrlein. At Sauber, the number two in the GP2 championship in Australia drove a strong race, but all that was forgotten after three crashes in China.
